Next week we will be vacationing in Oahu. I booked a 33rd floor condo at the Waikiki Banyon through a private owner. What were your thoughts about the Hotel in general and the area in which it is located?

They can be very nice. The building itself is recently renovated, but it is up to the individual owner if the unit is well maintained and updated. So there are no guarantees. I would guess though that it will suit your needs. The location is good. Within walking distance of the action, but far away enough to stay out of the fray.
You will have to figure out the one way streets in the area and get the route down if you rented a car but that is nothing.
