Either a vacation you have been thinking about for a while…I have been to hawaii a couple times but never able to do what i want to do. All we did was lie on the beach with my family. I want to go around the island and explore every part of it. I would rent a moped and drive around or take public transportation and walk to places. I will be staying in a hostel and that is the main thing holding me back. not sure if I would like it, but just graduated college and was used to living in a dorm with other people. It would be for two weeks. So here are my choices

1. hawaii vacation solo (sightsee, few activities,oahu 7 days, maui 7days, or maui 4 days kauai 3 days). Almost all my money gone for the trip

2. Material things like home gym set (not a great one but decent), xbox 360, bulls tickets. I would buy all of these things and still have some money left

I have 3 weeks of work between now and the time i would go on vacation to make even more money.
which would you pick and why?

Before you read the choice, I want to assume you owe no debts.

It’s simply foolish to go on vacation when you have debt.

So, if I were you, I’d still save the vacation and buy something, stay home. You can certainly go on vacation later and it’ll much more enjoyable when you know you have money left. Trust me, the islands are still going to be there.

At least you’re not thinking of going out drinking, xbox, gym equipment are not bad things if they entertain you and you use them often. I would definitely go for something that saves money, you’ll thank yourself you did later!
