going on vacation next week to oahu. renting a car and want to know which beaches to go to.?
I dont know how to swim, float, hold my breath under water so I am not waves at a beach- friendly
Most of the surfing action is on the North shore i.e. past Haleiwa town.
there is some nice beach area by bellows, and right in Waikiki in back of the Hale Koa hotel is a nice streach of beach. It’s a little less crouded than right at the main Waikiki beach.
On the North shore is a real nice scenic view at Waimea Bay Beach Rock, but watch out for the undertow. It gets deep quick.
The Beach park by chinamans hat (small Island) is very shallow and goes out a long way before it starts to get deep.

What are the steps to start a kennel-free doggy day care center in Hawaii (Oahu) or Cali (San Diego)?
I don’t have any professional experience but I’ve been working with dogs a lot over the past couple of years and I’d really like to start a kennel-free doggy day care where people can bring their dogs in to spend the day forming their place in the pack and socializing while their parents are at work or even on vacation. Does anyone know the steps for this?
Thanks a lot for the info everyone! Great suggestions from all of you so far! What I really meant was the procedures for going about starting the doggy day care as a business. I’d like to actually buy some land and build a waterfall area or pool with lots of running ground and of course, fences. Are there licenses that you need to be able to do such a business due to the kennel free part??? What do I need to do to save myself from lawsuits that may occur?
get a well fenced in backyard, and a shovel, and someware to put all the poop. take the dogs to the backyard and greet them to one another, and let them play, don’t forget about the water, this is important that u have water avaluablu to them ALL the time.
