Your best bet is to wait until you get to Hawaii. There will be plenty of newsstands with handouts containing discounted coupons to major activities. Take a walk though Waikiki on your first day and pick a few of these up. The http://www.sharinghawaii.com site often has plenty of links to discounted offers but doesn’t sell tickets directly. You can use it as a useful resource to finding and organizing your activities and in locating offers.

Well I hope you are looking forward to your upcoming trip! I’m a resident here and I can suggest a list of things to do on Oahu.
I’ve never heard of an Oahu fun pass, but there are really cool coupon books for FREE on Waikiki if you just pick them up.

Where you would like to go depends on the dough you wanna spend though some places like Sea Life Park, Hawaiian Water Adventure, Polynesia Cultural Center and Wet n’ Wild are expensive. I would recommend: the Honolulu Zoo, the Honolulu Aquarium, Atlantis Submarine (through the Hilton Hawaii Hotel), the Ice Palace (the only ice skating rink in Hawaii, across from Aloha Stadium), the Bishop Museum, Pearl Harbor Arizona Memorial, the Bofin Submarine and the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum, Matsumoto’s Shave Ice on the north shore, Ted’s Bakery NorthShore, Anna Miller’s bakery in pearl city, visit pipeline and sunset beach (also on the north shore), shop at Ala Moana Shopping Center (largest open air mall in the world), walk Waikiki (don’t be out too late though), Nico’s Pier 38 (on Saturday mornings at 7am there are free tours of the Hawaii fish market, see exotic and local fish), and I’m sure that there are plenty more that I’ve forgotten.

I’ve lived here for two years now, lemme know via email if you’d like a list of cheap eats and other local hangouts. I hope that this helped. Most places may seem expensive unless you have a kama’aina ID (local Hawaii state ID). I hope you enjoy your trip, aloha!

Trust is tough, one thing I found is to go with a list of tours from companies who have nothing to gain financially from promoting them. Like for example a company that leases condos, like this:

They just put whatever is popular for their guests staying there.
