Save Ka Iwi Hillside — No Cabins!

2008 is starting with a renewed push by a developer to build 181 “cabins” on preservation land above Ka Iwi (between Sandy’s and Makapu’u, East Oahu) at Mau’uwai and Queen’s Rise. They call it “recreation,” but it smells like “resort.” Pics show “before” — let’s hope “for ever!” Photos by Greg Knudsen.
